Breakfast buffet & half-board
CuisineWith half-board, we pamper our hotel guests with a lavish breakfast buffet and 5-course menu in the evening.
Our lavish breakfast buffet
Our breakfast buffet pampers you with products from the region. Fresh bread and pastries come from the organic baker Ernst Joast in Lienz. How about organic spelt bread or East Tyrolean alpine flower bread? The "Früchteküche" in Assling provides a bit of natural sweetness to the breakfast table - jams, East Tyrolean elderberry jelly, or honey. We personally collect our breakfast eggs from the Steiner farm in Tristach. You can see for yourself; the farm is right around the corner from the Dolomitenhof! The bacon is made especially for us by own butcher Truntschnig from Nikolsdorf.
Fresh fruits and berries, Bircher muesli, homemade cakes, croissants, and muffins are also part of a perfect start to your day at the Dolomitenhof. Of course, we offer alternative for allergy sufferers.
Upon request, our service staff will bring fried eggs or ham & eggs freshly prepared to your table or prepare coffee specialties for you at the bar.

5-course menu in the evening
We place great importance on regional and seasonal dishes. The fresh herbs come directly from our garden. For our dishes, we always draw from the abundance of agricultural products from our region and prepare them seasonally. We work with suppliers and partners who we personally know, and like them, we place great value on environmental sustainability and animal welfare. Of course, our vegetarian guests will also find their own favorite dish.
With half-board, we pamper you with a 5-course menu in the evening. Our menu begins with an appetizer, soup, and fresh salads from the buffet. For the main dish, you can choose from 3 options, and the grand finale is the mouth-watering dessert.

The right thing for every season
Spring begins in the Dolomitenhof kicthen with East Tyrolean asparagus from the Kaplenig family from Lavant, wild garlic from the local fields and forests, and exquisite lamb dishes. Our guests can enjoy wild chicken specialties from the Girstmair family from Lienz or East Tyrolean ox in autumn. We get strawberries and rhubarb for our desserts from the Buchacher strawberry field in Dölsach.
In summer, we cook light dishes and salads that come directly to the table from the field: the Kroller family across from the Dolomitenhof is one of the few salad and vegetable farmers in East Tyrol.
In the summer months from May to mid-September, our legendary grill evening with live music takes place every Thursday. Your table is reserved for you on the terrace as part of half-board. Enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of this entertaining culinary evening with us! Our kitchen team will pamper you with fresh fish and meat dishes, baked potatoes, grilled vegetables, delicious sauces, and side dishes such as crisp salads and antipasti.
Autumn is characterized by dishes from the field and forest, and the menu includes wild game dishes such as venison ragout or venison carpaccio. Master butcher Albin Egger from Lienz delivers the games. How about creamy pumpkin soup, mushrooms, or Dolomite goose? There are also sociable, culinary evenings with live music in autumn. At the legendary "Törggele" evening, the aroma of roasted chestnuts accompanies the menu.
